Concept

• “Successful graduate” – job mentoring and further education for high schools students in the upper grades.

• Creation of the “Praktika” workshops, in which children are taught the fundamental skills of various professions.

• “Letter to a friend” – arrangement of correspondence with children – foster children from sponsored orphanages and adults, top-managers and employees of the Arkady Novikov Group, who wished to take part in the action. Long-term project will prepare the sides for the participation in the project “Host family”, when direct communication will gradually substitute distant communication.

• “Host family” – project started in autumn, 2008. Aim of the project – is social and psychological adaptation of children-orphans. Participants of the project, having processed the documents and received permission from guardianship and wardship authorities, can take a child from the orphanage on weekends and holidays. Time spent with a child, visiting of the park or café, museum or theatre will provide a foster-child with a priceless experience of a positive communication with an adult. And the possibility to meet and spend time regularly with an elder friend will present a self-belief.

• “True fairy-tail” – program created a sensoyr room in orphanage in the region of Ivanovo, and now under the guidance of psychologists and with the help of modern technics children have an opportunity to develop weaken sensory functions (vision, hearing, sense of touch), moving activity and correction of emotional and psychological condition.

• “Meet Moscow” – is arrangement of bus excursions around Moscow including to visits of museums and theatres.

• “My album” – project gives girls at sponsored orphanages the chance to create their own photo albums after taking part in special photo shoots.

Holiday actions

• “St.George Ribbon” - children receive an opportunity to participate in the celebration of the Victory Day directly, as volunteers they hand round “St. George Ribbons” in the streets, communicate with veterans, take part in the concerts. It is conducted annually in the beginning of May.

• “Letter to Father Frost” – is an annual pre-New Year action, during which every child wrote a letter and got an answer and desired present.

Sponsored orphanages

For objective reasons we can’t say official names of the sponsored orphanages and their addresses, for this information you should contact directly the Charity Fund of Arkady Novikov Group of companies.

• Orphanage with special correction, situated in the district of Ivanovo, created during the Second World War, in the 70^th got the correctional status. Children from 4 to 12 years old with different congenital pathologies live and are brought up there under the constant supervision of doctors. Children from this orphanage need permanent medical help, regular consultations of doctors-specialists and psychologists, invited specialists from capital medical institutions.

• Since 2010 we have one more sponsored orphanage, which is situated in the town Shuya, district of Ivanovo.

90 children from 7 to 18 are brought up there. Now these are our children too. At present moment work on elaboration of aid projects to this orphanage is conducted. Our help in buying of interactive board and equipment for educational process became the first stage.
